Ten computers, six laptops, a fax machine, two iPads, a flat screen television, six telephones, a cell phone, nursing and healthcare supplies, cash and other medical supplies were taken in a commercial burglary from an office located at 120 S. Victory Boulevard overnight Monday.
Sometime between 5:50 p.m., April 14, and 8:15 a.m., April 15, thieves entered an upstairs office in the business complex and took the items, including several thousand dollars in cash from the manager’s office, according to Sgt. Darin Ryburn of the Burbank Police Department.
“It was a significant loss to the business,” said Ryburn, who explained the owner of the business arrived Tuesday morning to find the door propped open and the office burglarized.
There were no visible signs of forced entry and all the interior doors were unlocked. The office had an alarm system but it had not been set the previous evening, added Ryburn.
A painting from the front office had been taken but was later found next to the office complex’s mailbox area in the rear of the building.
There are no suspects at this time. Police urge anyone who may have seen something or has information about this burglary to contact the department at 818-238-3210.
