The City of Burbank’s Public Works Solid Waste Collection Department and the Recycle Center have developed a pilot program that will divert waste from the Burbank landfill. The program seeks to promote recycling and keep Burbank streets and sidewalks clean.

Public Works staff has selected Magnolia Blvd. to be the first section of Burbank to participate in the new recycling bins program.

Recycle carts (see attachments) have been placed at several suitable locations including: bus stops, intersections and areas with heavy foot traffic.
