A “very sophisticated indoor marijuana grow operation with over 200 plants in various stages of growth” was raided on Friday, February 14, according to Sgt. Darin Ryburn of the Burbank Police Department.
Arsen Grigoryevich Sarkisyan, age 39 and a Burbank resident, was arrested for violating section 11358 of the California Health Code. He was booked at the Burbank Jail and his bail is set at $30,000.
Narcotics officers received a tip about a possible marijuana grow near 129 and 131 E. Prospect Avenue, in an industrial area near San Fernando Blvd. and Alameda Avenue. Narcotics investigators and patrol officers served the warrant on February 14 at 3:30 p.m., arresting Sarkisyan.
All the marijuana plants were seized and brought to the station, added Ryburn.
