Wax Poetic counts among its longstanding clients many people working at the nearby studios and entertainment offices in Burbank, said manager Pete DiBiasio.
Recently, I experienced a Clear Skin facial and was treated by Connie, a very popular esthetician at Wax Poetic. She explained every step and the products used. Connie was very gentle and thorough.
The ultrasound machine was a new treatment for me. At the end of the session, my skin felt very clean and light, soft and smooth and stayed that way for several days after.
The ultrasound waves push the treatments and moisturizers deep into the skin cells, allowing the hydration to last longer. Connie emphasized that an ultrasound facial should be used no more frequently than once every four weeks.

Wax Poetic uses the 302 Professional Skin Care line of products, developed using Avogen, extracted from avocado oil, and other vitamins and nutrients. Connie explained that different vitamins and serums from the line are used to reduce skin damage from sun, dryness and to lighten brown spots.
Five new facials have been added to the services menu: Clear Skin, Brightening, New You, Balancing and the currently-trendy Vampire. All the menu prices include different skin care products to take home. Consultations are free.
