Agave Gardens in Magnolia Park hosts workshops and special events throughout the month. At the most recent Airium Workshop held on Saturday, January 18, a large group gathered around the big table in the back to create hanging glass globes populated with tiny, curious-looking air plants, stones and bits of greenery. The two-hour monthly workshop has been a popular draw for the recently-opened garden and home shop.

Doors opened to the eclectic shop in late September 2013. Word-of-mouth and social media has been very positive and drawn more people to the Hollywood Way store looking for gifts and interesting items for the home. Agave Gardens specializes in decorative small plants and their containers, terrariums, jewelry and handmade soaps, lotions and candles.

Agave Gardens is located at 820 N. Hollywood Way in Magnolia Park. The next workshop is a three-hour invitation-making class held on Saturday, January 25, in the evening. Agave Gardens will be open during the evening hours of Friday, January 31, and serving complimentary wine and snacks at a special Valentines Day-themed workshop for the monthly Magnolia Park Ladies Night Out.
