The Burbank Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) held a Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 27.
Burbank Police Explorers and the Community Outreach Program (COPS Bureau) along with two officers from the DEA collected unused medicines, vitamins and prescriptions from mid-morning until 2:00 p.m.
Burbank police collected 360 pounds of unwanted medicines which was then taken by DEA officials to be destroyed.
