Burbank residents will have a chance on Saturday, October 15, to get their hands on a copy of “Lost Burbank”.
Author Mike McDaniel, who also provides the great “Flashback Friday” on myBurbank, will be on hand at the Buena Vista Library from 1:00 to 4:00 pm to sell a limited amount of the book.
The national release of the book is set for October 31.
The book tells he story of Burbank, from its history to amusing antidotes along with folklore.
Anyone who purchases a book will save $2 off the cover price and be able to pickup the book for $20, along with a signature of one of the two local authors.
McDaniel, along with co-author Wesley Clark, have run the informative website Burbankia for many years before putting their writing efforts into the book.
This will be a must-have for any resident, either transplanted or lifelong to have and enjoy.
