Burbank Police have put out the word that another ‘Flash Mob’ event may be coming this Tuesday to the Krispy Keme at the Empire Center on Tuesday, October 6, 2015.

A release from the Burbank Police stated, “The Burbank Police Department will always respect and recognize the rights of individuals to peacefully and lawfully assemble. We also respect and recognize the need for area residents and businesses to safely utilize city streets and services.
Mass gatherings can create a public nuisance, disturb the general peace and create situations which impact the safe and efficient flow of traffic. To that end, the Burbank Police Department will be fully deployed in the area to enforce all applicable laws, including those involving illegal engine/vehicle modifications.”

The last time there was a mass gathering Burbank Police used mutual aid and brought in other departments to assist with enforcement. They also closed off the Empire Center to all vehicles.
Gatherings before that created traffic nightmares in the past with both residents and business owners completely locked in and the traffic then spilled out of the area into other businesses,
