Burbank Police are still investigating what happened Thursday afternoon when they were requested to the 2000 block of Rose Street after a pickup truck struck a curb, a car and then a house.
Burbank Police dispatched several units Code-3 (lights & sirens) after receiving several 911 calls of a car which struck a house.
The Fire Department also dispatched a full assignment of two fire engines, a truck company, paramedic rescue and a battalion chief. Once the first police officer arrived on scene, it was discovered that no one was trapped and the car actually didn’t make entry into the house.
Burbank traffic units also responded and took pictures, measurements, and then headed to Holy Cross Trauma Center where the driver was transported by Burbank paramedics.
They believe the driver hit a curb, made a 180, and struck a BMW SUV sitting in its driveway. The truck then bolted across the street into a driveway striking the house. The elderly driver was taken Code-3 to the trauma center with serious injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
